Richmond Futch Jr., Fine Artist

Richmond Futch Jr. started painting as a young boy, recognized by a Rochester City School District teacher of his untapped talent Richmond was entered into a special art program for one year of private study at the Rochester Museum of Art. He continued on to attend evening art classes at East High, the “All of Us” art program and years later Geneseo College . Richmond is also schooled in the art of the Bonsai Tree. However the majority of his training has been self-taught under the direction of the Holy Spirit.

In 1994 after living a life of sin Richmond gave his life to the Lord, shortly thereafter God began to speak to Richmond through his art in the subject matter and the colors he used.

While visiting Harvest Fellowship Pastor Kathy invited Richmond to paint during service God moved upon Richmond that day placing a burning in his soul to worship Him in his artwork and the desire to help other artist activate the gift within. In 2004 after 26 years of employed at Genecor International/Eastman Kodak Richmond was granted the ability to retired from secular employment allowing him to dedicate his time to the ministry fulltime.
